 MARDI GRAS, MASQUERADE, or CARNIVAL

Mardi Gras, Masquerade, or Carnival...all a reason to put on a costume and mask and be someone else for a day.  It's called Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Carnival in Rio and Venice, Shrove Tuesday in some countries and Masquerade just about anyplace else. Officially it is the last day before Lent begins, the day before Ash Wednesday.  (Here are a couple of links if you want to know more:  Mardi Gras, History of Mardi Gras).
What kinds of masks?  Well, who...or what....do you want to be? Like these folks, below, you can choose.  I found this photograph while cruising eBay (what else?!).  It appears to be pre-40's and an old "drugstore" photo with deckled edges; the printing on the back is Latvian.

Because each of the masks is one-of-a-kind,  inventory is varied.  Half masks range in price from $75 to $105, depending on ornamentation and type of gemstones used.  Full masks (including cats) range from $105 to $125.  If you see one you like, call or email.  If you have your own idea for a mask, or you need a set for a play,  I can do that too.

Shipping costs are priority mail plus insurance.   We take PayPal, but I will also accept a check or money order.
